I'm giving 5 * just so my review won't hide to the bottom! but this is one of the worst place to eat, you're lucky if u get a good piece of meat but if they have expired meat they wouldn't mind selling it; people in the kitchen maybe not to bad but some waiter are so bad specially the manager is the worst! i ordered a plate that comes with 4 different meats and they gave me a plate with chicken and beef I asked why and his answer was they didn't had the rest and I said respectfully their responsability is to let ur customer know and uts been more than 3 different time where they been bad I gave them many chances even my family and every time they try to fix every with free soda ????? Terrible place +very hard meat to eat even when is well cooked still pretty hard to eat and like I said I know the owner and I thats why giving them many chances

Have gotten nothing from here that wasn't delicious. Everything so far is wonderful, as well as inside and delivery services. You'll enjoy it I think.

I decided to do takeout but while I was there the employees made it feel like it was a Mom & Pop restaurant or that it has been here for fifty years in which I enjoy that type of atmosphere

The food & service were both really good. The chips, salsa, & caso were great. It takes a lot for me to be impressed with a Mexican restaurant's chips & salsa. The cleanliness of the place was extremely clean, even the bathroom.

Large variety of food. I can say it's the best Mexican food I've had. The Mexican burger I had was out of this world. Hot off the grill with goacomoli, pickles, and pineapple. The place is simple, but quaint. The service was good and timely. I will be going back for sure. I highly recommend it.

Tongue street tacos were tongalicious lolol Cooked to perfection Defrickinlicious......

A wonderful place to grab a Mexican dinner with friends. My friend was from Arizona and she would only eat at certain Mexican restaurants in mobile stating many of them were not authentic. She loved this place which speaks highly of Rio. Good servers are kind and attentive.

At the intersection of Hillcrest and Airport (Southside), this unassuming restaurant is worth a try and repeat visits. While it is a small space (it can only occupy 89 people), it offers big flavors and friendly staff. The restaurant was really loud on the nights that we visited. But this just means that people are enjoying themselves and the food is delicious. Also, the portion sizes are large and the prices are reasonable.

Good food, fun vibe. The closest to authentic as we can get without having to drive over to Theodore. I believe same owners of Villa del Rey by Target. The last time I was there I made a point to get something other than my typical go-to's and chose their barbacoa torta. Oh em gee it was good! Now when I go I'm going to have a hard time deciding what to order!
